Review: 21 Lessons for the 21st Century

21 Lessons for the 21st Century by Yuval Noah Harari My rating: 4 of 5 stars Finished reading the Harari Trilogy (yes, I just named a set of non-fiction books.). Sapiens explored the past. Homo Deus explored the future. 21 Lessons for the 21st Century tries to make sense of the present. Albeit I knew most of the concepts discussed in this book by heart, Harari kept me hooked till the last page with his interesting anecdotes and stories filled with unexpected references and humorous remarks. Some of the stuff he said seemed possible but a tad far fetched for the year 2050. But that doesn't really matter because that's not the point. Harari, like me, is obsessed with the big picture of humanity and makes a commendable case why we all should be. Harari is like a much more polite version Christopher Hitchens.
