Finished reading the Harari Trilogy (yes, I just named a set of non-fiction books.). Sapiens explored the past. Homo Deus explored the future. 21 Lessons for the 21st Century tries to make sense of the present.
Albeit I knew most of the concepts discussed in this book by heart, Harari kept me hooked till the last page with his interesting anecdotes and stories filled with unexpected references and humorous remarks.
Some of the stuff he said seemed possible but a tad far fetched for the year 2050. But that doesn't really matter because that's not the point. Harari, like me, is obsessed with the big picture of humanity and makes a commendable case why we all should be.
Harari is like a much more polite version Christopher Hitchens. Hitchens was famous for his Hitchslaps where he would brutally destroy his opposition with facts and infallible arguments whereas Harari puts a hand over his opposition's should and gently and subtly turns them in his direction.
The only thing I was not so fond of was that Harari would use 4 or 5 stories to explain a single topic. And because I was already in agreement with him from the start, I was like, "Yeah, I get it. Can we move on?" but that's not the book's problem, its mine because you'd need multiple examples to persuade sceptics.
Its a really good time, all three of his books.

The art style is fun. The story is quite juvenile for my taste. Didn't enjoy it as much as I had thought I would. Will continue though. Looking forward to Spider Verse.
Its a boring chase. Inclusion of Mr.Kane from Citizen Kane was interesting. Gonna take a break before reading the next two parts of the Nemo Trilogy.
Not as fun as it was the first time but, still, a fun little break from serious reading.
